The entrance square in the "Burza" Action Park in a new version 🌲🌼💚 It has undergone a major metamorphosis. Now you can admire native plant species, including 800 perennials, 1,350 trees and shrubs, a rain garden 💦 and new benches, chairs, bicycle racks, garbage bins and lighting.🥇 The revitalization of the "Burza" Action park ended in July 2023. After the changes, the park under the Warsaw Uprising Mound is even more eagerly visited by residents. The investment was also appreciated by experts. The park won three Architectural Awards of the President of Warsaw and the Grand Prix of the Tygodnik Polityka Architectural Award. 🥇 This green area was also among the LILA finalists – Landezine International Landscape Award, one of the most important competitions for implementation in the field of public space and landscape architecture.Have you already been to the park after revitalization? Yes, there is also a beautiful and sad story - how the hill was created. This is a hill of stones, bricks and all the remains of the ruins of Warsaw after 2nd World War.

🌟 We're working on the future of #Warsaw! 🏙️The General Plan and the Warsaw Development Strategy 2040+ will be introduced by the end 2025. They will replace the current #Warsaw2030 Strategy and determine the direction in which our city will develop in the coming years. It will be also responsible for key challenges, like climate changes. #Warsaw moves up in Smart City Index 2024!The IMD released its Smart Cities Index, examining 142 global cities based on economic and technological advancements and factors such as sustainability, inclusiveness, and livability.
